Full Itinerary

  • Delhi – Kathmandu (flight)

    • On time, transfer to New Delhi International airport to board flight to Kathmandu. On arrival, check-in at Hotel.
    • If time permits, explore the markets around.
    • After dinner, retire to you bed early to start early next morning.

  • Explore Kathmandu

    • After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath temple, Boudhnath Stupa and Kathmandu Dubar Square.
    • Pashupatinath is the biggest shrine of Lord Shiva in Nepal and is the most sacred temple for Hindus all over the world. The holy men with all kinds of makeup and ashes all over the bodies are also central attraction besides the Pashupatinath temple and the Holy River Bagmati.
    • Boudhanath Stupa is also known as the Little Tibet. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace to you. Make sure you go through the Thanka painting galleries around the area to better understand the concept of Tibetan Buddhism and its practices.
    • Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the center of the Kathmandu valley and has some of the most interesting monuments in Nepal. The Kumari Ghar, the House of the Living goddess Kumari, the Taleju temple and the most interesting the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, now a museum are some of the interesting buildings in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Besides that, the program of different kinds and gathering of people from all over Nepal makes it a lively place and the best place to understand Nepal.
    • Overnight in Hotel.

  • Explore Kathmandu

    • After breakfast, visit Bhatkapur and Patan City.
    • Bhaktapur is the home to the vibrant Newari culture; this is also the city of festivals. The 55 windows palace, the tallest pagoda in Nepal, the Pottery square and the museums in Bhaktapur has made it the best palace area in Nepal and also a must visit place in Nepal when you are here.
    • Later you will visit city of Patan which is an ancient kingdom with unique architectures. It has museum consisting of extraordinary artifacts and temples. Also visit Patan Durbar square.
    • Overnight in Hotel.

  • Kathmandu – Departure

    • This morning is at leisure. On time, you will be transferred to Kathmandu International Airport for onwards journey.
