U.S President- Donald Trump’s visit to Taj Mahal

 ^{On February 24-25 Donald Trump’s visit to India as the U.S. President, Donald Trump accompanied by first lady Melania Trump and daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. This would make the trip one of the few times that Mr. Trump has traveled officially with so many members of his family.}

 During Donald Trump’s visit to India, he will touch down at Ahmedabad. A ‘Howdy Modi’-style mega rally, ‘Namaste Trump,’ that he will jointly address with PM Narendra Modi, along with bilateral agreements on counter-terrorism among others, are on the cards. A limited trade deal, however, remains elusive.

Donald Trump’s visit to Taj Mahal

^{US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump will tour the Taj Mahal on the first day of their visit to India. From Ahmedabad, Trumps will go to Agra and will stay here for at least two hours.}

^{During Donald Trump’s Agra visit , his plane will be landing in Agra at 4.45 pm on Monday. On arrival, he will be greeted by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath and governor Anandiben Patel.}

^{From the airport, Trump’s convoy will move to hotel Amar Vilas and from here Trump’s will ride battery operated Golf carts to the Taj Mahal at 5.15pm.}

^{They will enter the monument from the eastern gate and will get down at the forecourt of the building, right in front of the royal gate. From here they will enter into the Taj through its facade, the main gate and will see in full view for the first time the marble structure, one of the seven wonders of the world}

^{Trumps will also sit at one of the marble benches installed in 1908 by Lord Curzon also known as Diana bench.}

 

Taj Mahal will remain close for Visitors after 12 pm

^{“Due to security reasons, Taj Mahal will be closed for public from 12 noon on the day when US President Donald Trump visits the monument. President Trump will visit Taj Mahal on February 24,” Vasant Kumar Swarnkar, Superintendent Agra Division, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) said.}
